Jeffrey "Jeff" E. Stiefler
Operating Advisor
Jeffrey E. Stiefler brings more than 40 years of business leadership and operational experience to North Castle and its portfolio companies. Jeff served as President and a Director of American Express Company, CEO and President of American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise), Chairman, CEO, and President of Digital Insight (now Intuit Financial Services), and in a variety of senior roles at Citicorp.
Jeff also has extensive private equity and venture capital experience. As an Operating Partner with McCown DeLeeuw, he was either Chairman or CEO of two service companies, Outsourcing Solutions (receivables management) and IDRC (call centers) and served, for North Castle, as a Director of CRC Health.
Currently, Jeff serves as Chairman of three companies, Touch Commerce (online optimization), Fifth Third Processing (merchant acquiring and debit card processing) and Logic Source (print procurement outsourcing).
Jeff is also the Lead Independent Director of Taleo (outsourced talent management) and a Director of Verifone (point-of-sale technology) and LPL Investment Holdings, Inc. (independent broker-dealer). He is also a Venture Partner at Emergence Capital Partners.
Jeff holds a B.A. from Williams College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
