Operating Advisors Jeffrey E. Stiefler Operating Advisor Jeffrey E. Stiefler's outstanding career as a business leader began at Citicorp, where he helped transform the institution's disparate consumer businesses into one of the industry's most powerful franchises. In 1983, Mr. Stiefler joined IDS Financial Services as Senior Vice President of Marketing. Shortly afterward, IDS was acquired by American Express. During the next ten years, Mr. Stiefler helped build IDS into one of the world's most consistently successful financial services firms. He assumed additional responsibility for leading the firm's sales force in 1987 and then became President and Chief Executive Officer. In 1993, Mr. Stiefler was asked to become President of American Express and joined the Board of Directors. After retiring from American Express in 1995, Mr. Stiefler joined private equity firm McCown DeLeeuw and led the building of two service businesses: Outsourcing Solutions, Inc., where he served as Chairman, and International Data Response Corp., where he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Stiefler recently retired as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Digital Insight, a leading eFinance enabler, following the successful sale of the company to Intuit. Additionally, Mr. Stiefler served on the Board of Directors of a number of public and private companies including CRC Health and LPL Financial.
