Operating Advisors Peter Roy Operating Advisor Peter Roy has been a driving force behind America's natural products industry for more than 25 years. Mr. Roy served as President of Whole Foods Market, the largest retailer of natural and organic products in the world, from 1993 until his retirement in 1998. Mr. Roy joined North Castle as an Operating Advisor in 1999. His visionary leadership, industry contacts and deep insight into consumers of natural products play an invaluable role in the sourcing and assessing of new investment opportunities and the building of successful companies within the natural foods and personal products sectors. He served on the boards of directors of two North Castle portfolio companies: Avalon Natural Products and Naked Juice. He was previously Chairman of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and an "Entrepreneur in Residence" at Tulane University's Freeman School of Business.
