Gil Pritchard
Operating Executive
Gil Pritchard brings more than 35 years of natural products industry experience to his role as a member of the OEG for North Castle and its portfolio companies.
Gil currently serves as Chairman of Mineral Fusion Natural Brands, North Castle's investment in natural mineral cosmetics, and is a member of the gloProfessional Board of Directors.
Gil previously served as President and CEO of Avalon, a former North Castle portfolio company, which was sold to Hain Celestial Group in 2007. In addition to his success at Avalon, Gil has been the CEO of two additional successful investor exits: nSpired Natural Foods and Barbara's Bakery. In each of these companies, Gil helped achieve sales and earnings growth that far exceeded industry averages through a combination of building greater brand equity (increased focus, installation of meaningful/relevant values, product innovation and leadership) and the recruitment and empowerment of superior management teams to execute the company vision and values.
Gil started his career at Oil of Olay (now Procter & Gamble) and later moved on to Sunfield Foods (now Nestle). Gil currently is a member of the Advisory Board to gDiapers and is on the Class Executive Committee and as the Chief Giving Officer for the West Point Class of 1970. He is also a retired Director of the Natural Products Association, Nest Naturals, Dreamerz, and Lightful Foods. He was the 2006 recipient of the NCP CEO of the Year award and the prestigious Natural Products Industry Higher Ground Award. Gil earned his B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his M.S. from Columbia University.
