Operating Advisors Gil Pritchard Operating Advisor Gil Pritchard, a 33 year natural products industry veteran, joined North Castle as an Advisor in 2008. Mr. Pritchard most recently served as President and CEO of Avalon Natural Products, a former North Castle portfolio company, which was sold to Hain Celestial Group in 2007. In addition to his success at Avalon Natural Products, Mr. Pritchard has been the CEO of two additional successful investor exits nSpired Natural Foods and Barbara's Bakery. In each of these companies he helped achieve sales and earnings growth that far exceeded industry averages through a combination of building greater brand equity (increased focus, installation of meaningful/relevant values, product innovation and leadership) and the recruitment and empowerment of superior management teams to execute the company vision and values. Mr. Pritchard started his career at Oil of Olay (now P&G) and later moved on to Sunfield Foods (Nestle). Mr. Pritchard currently sits on the Boards of gDiapers, Nest, and Dreamerz. He is also a retired Director of the Natural Products Association and was the 2006 recipient of the NCP CEO of the Year award and the prestigious Natural Products Industry Higher Ground Award.
