Mike Morris
Operating Executive
Mike Morris joined North Castle in 2006 bringing more than 30 years of IT and business management experience to his role as a member of the OEG. Over the last 18 years, Mike has developed expertise in the consumer and retail industries and in related disciplines, including supply chain management, warehouse operations logistics, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), retail operations, e-commerce, and social media, in addition to his deep IT background. Mike works with each of the North Castle portfolio companies from due diligence, through operating blueprint development and initial infrastructure investment, to ultimate exit planning and preparation.
Mike most recently served as VP of Information Technology and CIO for Vitamin Shoppe Industries, a national multi-channel retailer of vitamins and nutritional supplements. Mike has served in similar capacities for J. Crew, the Leslie Fay Companies, and KASPER Suits, and has held senior technology positions at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (now Novartis), Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated, and Arthur Andersen.
Mike has developed an expertise in assisting small and mid-sized companies achieve their growth goals and strategic initiatives through partnerships with senior management and the successful leveraging of technology. He also has extensive experience identifying and driving process change into businesses and IT organizations across multiple industries. Mike currently serves on the Board of Directors of Performance Bicycle.
Mike earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut and his M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
