Louis E. Marinaccio

Lou Marinaccio has been with North Castle since 1999. Mr. Marinaccio leads the firm's initiatives in Nutrition, Weight Management, Personal Care, and the Home, Leisure & Sustainability markets. In the Nutrition area, he has been involved in more than a dozen food & beverage brand investments, including most recently leading the acquisitions of Atkins Nutritionals, Bora-Bora Organic Foods, and the Flatout flatbread company. He played a variety of roles, including Chief Operating Officer, in building Naked Juice through the acquisition, integration and restructuring of six regional juice operators, culminating in the successful exit to PepsiCo. His Personal Care experience includes working with the CEOs of gloProfessional, Mineral Fusion Natural Brands, and Red Door Spas to shape strategy and accelerate growth. He was also deeply involved in Doctors' Dermatologic Formula, serving as CEO prior to Procter & Gamble acquiring the business. He currently is a Board member at Atkins, Bora-Bora, Flatout, gloProfessional, and Mineral Fusion.

Prior to joining North Castle in 1999, Mr. Marinaccio was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, advising consumer, life sciences, retail, and healthcare clients. Mr. Marinaccio joined McKinsey from ABN-AMRO, where he executed debt transactions with manufacturing and healthcare clients. He received a B.B.A. with Distinction in Finance from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
