First, North Castle partners with the CEO at each of its portfolio companies and ensures the right management team is in place. A team of North Castle professionals and Operating Advisors works with management to align around a clear vision and jointly developed operating plan. We then establish the appropriate capital structure to allow the company to properly invest in its future, and we make certain that the proper incentive plans are established to promote management focus and motivation. Finally, we contribute a broad array of resources according to the operating plan to drive strategy and brand development, sales growth, supply chain/operations efficiency and effectiveness, and infrastructure build-out. Throughout the value creation process, from due diligence to exit, we draw on the collective knowledge, skills and experience of our team, advisors and our network.
